Square Enix has revealed that Final Fantasy VII Remake has reached five million units shipped and sold for both physical and digital copies. This makes Final Fantasy VII Remake the best selling Square Enix title on the PlayStation Store.
Final Fantasy VII Remake is also currently on sale as part of the PlayStation Store’s Summer Sale, which will further boost sames over the coming weeks.
There is no word on when the next instalment in the series will be coming, but we do know that it’s in early development at the moment. Given how long the first part took to develop, it could be at least a year away. It’s also not clear how many games will be in the series either…
