Dreams will be getting a free VR expansion that will enable PlayStation VR support for the game, Media Molecule has announced. The expansion i called “Inside The Box” and will be available to download on 22nd July 2020.
The expansion will include an introduction to VR called “All Aboard VR”, that will help you get familiar with the Dreams VR controls. In DreamShaping, you’ll also find several new “How To” tutorials, that will teach you the ins and outs of creating in VR.
Create Mode in VR will lets you use the PlayStation Move controllers to fully immerse yourself in the creation process. You also don’t need to use VR to create VR experiences, so the update will work for all users.
And naturally, the update will include some ready-to-play experiences to show you what is possible and inspire you to create your own experiences. Full release notes will be available when the update is released later this month.
