The Cost of PlayStation Plus to Rise in Some European and Asian Countries

Sony are to raise prices for PlayStation Plus subscriptions in a number of European and Asian countries this August. For the UK, the price is staying the same, but countries like France and Germany are seeing the price increase for 1-month subscriptions.

As for the other countries affected, below is a list of the European and Asian countries that will see prices increase from August 2019.

Norway
1 Month Subscription: 65 NOK > 85 NOK
3 Month Subscription: 205 NOK > 240 NOK
12 Month Subscription: 485 NOK > 580 NOK

Sweden 
1 Month Subscription: 75 KR > 95 KR
3 Month Subscription: 235 KR > 260 KR
12 Month Subscription: 575 KR > 620 KR

Switzerland 
1 Month Subscription: 7.90 CHF > 9.90 CHF
3 Month Subscription: 24.90 CHF > 27.90 CHF
12 Month Subscription: 59.90CHF > 69.90 CHF

China:
1 Month Subscription: 29 Yuan -> 39 Yuan
3 Month Subscription: 69 Yuan -> 99 Yuan

Sony hasn’t commented on the reason for these increases, but it could be down to fluctuations in currency exchange rates.
