The PS4 will be getting a demo of Final Fantasy XV, Square Enix has confirmed. Unfortunately, the demo won’t be available until 20th March 2015, and come bundled with copies of Final Fantasy Type-o HD, which will contain a PSN code for you to download the demo. The demo is dubbed Final Fantasy XV – Episode Duscae, and will feature three house of gameplay.
Final Fantasy XV – Episode Duscae takes place near the beginning of Final Fantasy XV – but certain elements will be different from the final game. This is a special demo, giving gamers a unique first-play experience that will be able to give you a better feeling for the game as a whole.
Episode Duscae is set near the beginning of Final Fantasy XV and refers to the region in the game where the demo is set. There won’t be any major plot spoilers to worry about, but the game will allow you to explore the environment on foot or using a vehicle, and certain dungeons will be explorable.
