It’s been a while since Sony revealed sales figures for the PS4, with the last update coming in April 2014. At Gamescom last night, Sony revealed that the PS4 has now sold in excess of 10 million units worldwide, with more than 30 million PS4 games sold since launch – less than nine months ago. The PS4’s journey is just beginning, and there are still lots of amazing games coming later this year, which is sure to give the PS4 a further boost.
As we continue towards the Holiday season, you can look forward to great titles including Destiny, DRIVECLUB, Grand Theft Auto V, inFAMOUS First Light, Little Big Planet 3, and NBA 2K15, and innovative titles including Grim Fandango, Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number and Minecraft.
Also, look out for upcoming PS4 Firmware update v2.00, which adds lots of new features to the system.
