Sony has just announced LittleBigPlanet 3 for the PS4, complete with a live gameplay demo of the game. The game will introduce three new companions to help Sackboy through his new adventure: Oddsock, Toggle and Swoop. Each of the characters feature unique abilities to assist Sackboy.
For example, Oddsock can jump up walls, while Toggle can use his strength to weigh down obstacles to allow everyone to pass. Swoop is the only character that can fly through the levels, and can help carry another player over obstacles or large gaps.
Shuhei Yoshida has also revealed that all the previous 8 million+ levels created in the previous LBP titles will be playable from the new version.
