The countdown to Sony’s Gamescom Press Conference has begun, with just under 6 days to go until we find out the PS4’s official release date (hopefully). As per usual, you’ll be able to stream the conference live from the dedicated Gamescom page, or in PlayStation Home from 6.00pm BST/ 7.00pm CET on Tuesday, August 20th 2013.
Shortly after the press conference, Sony will be holding a live panel discussion hosted by journalist and broadcaster Dan Maher, where some of the biggest names in PlayStation gaming, including Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida, Beyond: Two Souls director David Cage and Assassin’s Creed writer Darby McDevitt will be sitting down to discuss the role of narrative and storytelling in games.
