Activision has officially announced Call of Duty: Ghosts for the PS3, and other consoles, with a release date set for November 2013. The game will also be “available for next generation platforms,” and is being developed by original Call of Duty studio Infinity Ward. The announcement confirms a retailer leak from last week. The official trailer for the game has also been revealed.
According to Activision, the new game “delivers a riveting all-new gameplay experience built on an entirely new story, setting and cast of characters, all powered by a new, next generation Call of Duty engine that redefines the series for the next generation.”
The game will be released on November 5th 2013.
