Expected to release in Europe yesterday, 8-bit open-world title Retro City Rampage is missing from the PlayStation Store in Europe. According to SCEE, the game is “going through certification currently.” The process may be taking longer than usual, especially since the North American version received a day-one patch for critical bugs in the game.
However, with the patch available in the US, it’s a wonder why the game is still missing from the European Store. The certification issue has been a major issue on the European PlayStation Store, with games like The Walking Dead Episode 3 being delayed in the past by a few weeks, and games like Counter-Strike Global Offensive still unavailable in Europe. The Walking Dead Episode 4 was also missing from yesterday’s Store update.
Retro City Rampage is cross-buy compatible with the PS Vita.
