On June 25th 2012, Sony Computer Entertainment (SCE) published an updated Executive Appointment list revealing that key Sony staff have stepped down from their previous positions. For one, Kazuo Hirai has stepped down as Representative Director and Chairman but continues his role as CEO of Sony as whole.
Hirai will remain on the Board of Directors, but in a part-time position only. Howard Stringer has also stepped down from his part-time role as Board Member. Andrew House continues his role as Representative Director, President and Group CEO.
A number of other changes have also occurred with other members of the Executive team.
