Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance producer, Yuji Kurekado, has confirmed that the game will receive DLC content after the game’s release. The DLC content will add new missions and playable characters to the game Kurekado confirmed.
Yuji Kurekado:
“We do have plans for some download content after the release from the game that will allow you to play maybe as a different character or some new missions.”
The game will be released in early 2013, but a release window for the DLC has not been confirmed yet. The game is set to take place nine years after Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots and is a spinoff that is not part of the main Metal Gear Solid series, featuring cyborg ninja Raiden.
