Sony’s PlayStation Move will be available to purchase this Autumn, but for how much? Sony originally announced that the motion controller and PlayStation Eye combo would cost less than $100. According to The Sun newspaper in the UK, the PlayStation Move controllers will cost £45 (approx $66 / €52).
Sony has yet to officially announce the actual price, but if The Sun’s report is accurate the Sony is pricing the new controller considerably less than early reports suggest. It could also mean that Sony is absorbing some of the cost of producing the controllers and technology in order to sell as many controllers as possible.
For now, this is classified as a rumor until Sony confirm the price.
