Final Fantasy XIV is currently in phase one of the closed beta for the PC, but Square Enix has revealed that the first phase is unlikely to reach the PS3. However, Square Enix believe phase two will be available on the PS3. Registrations to enter the beta have been running for some time now, including priority access to those who purchased Final Fantasy XIII.
“We may not make it in time for phase 1 of the beta, but around phase 2 of the beta we believe we will be able to support PS3.” said producer Hiromichi Tanaka, who was interviewed in the latest issue of Dengeki Magazine.
