Domain name watchers have noticed that Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has snapped up the domain name for MotorStorm 3, which has triggered speculation that the third title in the popular racing series is in development.
Domain names are normally reserved for upcoming titles. However, when Kotaku asked Sony Computer Entertainment America as to whether MotorStorm 3 was being worked on, they responded saying “It’s not uncommon for us to secure the URLs containing the names of our successful IP, and those actions should not be interpreted as an announcement of a new title in a franchise.”
