Battelfield: Bad Company 2 is set for release on March 2nd 2010 in North America and Europe a few days later, on March 5th 2010. In addition, DICE will also be releasing two exclusive downloadable content packs on launch day, both for free. The game will have an in-game store when you can download the content from. “I think people will be thrilled to see what’s in [the store]. On day one, you will get some really cool stuff,” said senior producer Patrick Bach in an interview.
Naturally, DICE will also be bringing premium content to the store. “We see the game as the first step to a longer experience. We have an in-game store where you get free content or you can buy new content to the game, so it’s a very integral part of the game that we will have a long post-launch campaign,” Bach continued.
