Sony expands PlayStation Store to new countries

SCEE is making the PlayStation Store available in four new countries within the PAL territory. This means that PlayStation owners in Poland, Greece, Saudi Arabia and Czech Republic can now download demos and purchase games from the PSN Store. The four new countries brings the total number of SCEE stores in the region to 25.

Chris Stanton-Jones, Distributor Markets VP for SCEE, said:

"When we launched PlayStation 3 in March, we promised that we would continue to improve the service throughout the SCEE territories and offer more stores to new regions as quickly as possible. The launch of these four new stores highlights our commitment both to improving our offering and the importance of these increasingly dynamic markets. We look forward to continuing the great success we are already having in these markets and are pleased to continue to show our support to them."
