Its only been a few weeks since the first Red Faction: Guerrilla DLC pack, Demons of the Badland, was announced, and already a new pack in inbound. The second downloadable content pack will deliver destructive new multiplayer modes and maps. The Multiplayer Pack will feature two new modes, Bagman and Team Bagman, along with eight new maps, playable across all multiplayer modes.
Today the first downloadable content pack for Red Faction: Guerrilla will be released on the PlayStation Network. The pack, called Demons of the Badlands, is a singleplayer prequel set in an entirely new area of mars, featuring new weapons, vehicles and activities. This pack features also comes with ten new trophies.The pack is already available to download from the European PlayStation Store for £7 and will be on available on the US Store later today for $9.99.
Set 50 years after the climactic events of the original Red Faction, Red Faction: Guerrilla allows players to take the role of an insurgent fighter, named Mason, with the newly re-established Red Faction movement as they battle for liberation from the oppressive Earth Defense Force (EDF). Your mission is to help the Red Faction eradicate the EDF from Mars. This sequel has moved away from the first-person perspective and uses third-person instead.
We’ve spent most of our evenings over the last few days playing Red Faction: Guerrilla and writing our review (look out for it on Friday). With all the hours we put in, we’ve decided to write up a trophy guide to help you get through the game and earn yourself another platinum trophy for your collection. There are 51 trophies to unlock in total – 1 platinum, 3 gold, 5 silver and the rest all bronze. The game is out this week so look out for it in stores.
