E3 is going down in LA at the LA Convention Center. With all the juicy news and updates coming out of the show Sony is updating the PlayStation Store daily to bring you the latest content from the show. The first of the these updates is in (see below for list), and includes new PSOne classics (including Final Fantasy VII), game add-on content for Dynasty Warriors and several game trailers. Updated to include new videos on European PlayStation Store.

In addition to announcing Final Fantasy VII at Sony’s E3 Press Conference Today, Final Fantasy XIV (14) was also announced as a exclusive PlayStation 3 title. Although Square Enix has been working on completing Final Fantasy XIII, it still managed to find the time to develope another game in parallel. Final Fantasy XIV will be a online only title (MMORPG) similar to Final Fantasy XI which was released on the PC. The game will be available to purchase in 2010, though an exact release date was not given.

If you missed Sony’s press conference, we have a minute-by-minute summary for you below. Some great announcement were made including several new exclusive games including Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, ModNation Racers, Final Fantasy XIV and more. Sony also showed-off their own version of the Wiimote, only it’s way better and is expected in 2010. Sony has some great things planned for the PlayStation 3 and PSP this year and through out next. E3 is underway and PlayStation Home is the place to be if you can’t make it to the event itself. As we mentioned in a earlier article, exclusive E3 content will be available inside of PlayStation Home at the Presentation Podium. Sony will also be showcasing a special taping of Jack Tretton’s E3 Keynote Address in-world come Tuesday evening. This special Events space is accessible via the Menu Pad – just press Start > Locations > World Map then select the PlayStation Home World Map chip and press X. This will break out into several other chips; just scroll over to the Presentation Podium chip, press X, and teleport your self to the party.

If you are not attending this year’s E3, there is no need to miss out on Sony’s Press Conference. You can catch the big announcements online from 7:00PM BST (11:00AM PST) tomorrow at IGN and GameSpot, and from within PlayStation Home. The Pavillion Space is all setup within PlayStation Home, though we’re not sure whether the conference will be streamed live into PlayStation Home. Sony’s conference is expected to be 2 hours long.
