Konami has announced that the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection will be release on February 3rd 2012 for Xbox 360 & PS3 in Europe. The collection will contain Metal Gear, Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake, MGS2: Sons of Liberty, MGS 3: Snake Eater and MGS: Peace Walker. Check out the trailer below in the mean time.
The remastered ICO & Shadow of the Colossus Collection launch on September 27th, and as a special treat the final boxart and inside packaging for the collection has been revealed. In addition to full 1080p HD, stereoscopic 3D support, and 7.1 surround sound, this re-release contains a ton of exclusive bonus footage and behind-the-scenes content.
A new Tekken collection is heading to the PS3. TEKKEN Hybrid, due for a pre-christmas release, will feature three bone-crunching goodies on one Blu-ray Disc. Tekken Tag Tournament HD; Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Prologue and Tekken Blood Vengeance.
In 2009, the God of War Collection was released on Blu-ray disc featuring both God of War and God of War II in true 720p HD form. Almost two years later, the collection will soon be available to download from the PlayStation Store. Both the remastered games will be available to download from the store on November 2nd 2010.
Just like the God of War Collection, Team Ico is expected to bring out their own collection consisting of Ico and Shadow of the Colossus. TheSixthAxis was told unofficially that the collection is on the way and is due in early 2011. Both titles will be available on Blu-ray disc for the PlayStation, presumably on the same disc and with optimised graphics.
As you may already know, the God of War Collection is now available in the US but has yet to see a European release. SCEE has now confirmed that the God of War Collection will be hitting Europe in 2010, but not in Q1. Europe has a long wait, but at lease this clears up any speculation regarding the European release. The actual date remains a secret for now, though.
Sony has posted a trailer for the upcoming God of War Collection. Expected in November, the collection contains God of War and God of War II, both remastered in full HD on a single Blu-ray Disc. If you pre-order the game, you also receive a voucher code to download the God of War III demo.
The God of War collection is coming to the PlayStation 3 this holiday season, thanks to overwhelming feedback from fans. The Blu-Ray disc will contain God of War and God of War II in 720p HD form. Both titles have been remastered with anti-aliased graphics, running at 60 frames per second for a smooth gameplay experience, only on the PS3 system. Additionally, the Blu-ray Disc compilation will bring the PlayStation Network (PSN) trophy support to the franchise for the very first time.
