If you don’t already own a PS3, Sony has got the perfect bundle to add to your Christmas wish list. To coincide with the recent release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 on Blu-ray, Sony is releasing The Harry Potter 3D Experience Movie Pack PS3 bundle.
The PlayStation 3 3D library is going stronger and stronger every day. If you aren’t familiar with what the PS3 has to offer or are looking to convince yourself to get the new Official PlayStation 3 3D Display, Sony has compiled an updated list of 3D games and movies to help you out.
At the E3 2011 Press Conference, Sony has announced an official 3D display as part of the PlayStation range. To go along with the new 3D display, Sony is also releasing a official pair of 3D glasses compatible with a number of 3D TVs. One pair of the glasses will come with the Official 3D display.
For the last few months, Ubisoft have been working on bringing the first three Splinter Cell games – Splinter Cell, Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow and Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory – to the PS3. Splinter Cell and Sam Fisher don’t need an introduction; these three games are highly acclaimed games and it has been a great pleasure for us to work on these titles.
The PS3 is leading the way when it comes to 3D content and games, and 2011 is looking even more exciting. By the end of the year, there will be around 30 stereoscopic 3D games on the PS3, including favorites such as Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception and Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One, among many others.

VUDU has been updated to a whole new dimension today thanks to a new patch for the movie streaming service. If you’ve got a 3D-enabled TV hooked up to your PS3, now you can stream in 3D directly from VUDU. If you’ve already downloaded the VUDU app, it will be updated automatically with the new functionality.

Currently, 19 3D titles are available for purchase, 8 of which can be downloaded from the PlayStation Store. In 2011, 10 3D games have been announced so far, you can expect plenty more to be released.
The Prince of Persia Trilogy will be available for download exclusively on the PlayStation Network, giving you the opportunity to re-live the critically-acclaimed developed by Ubisoft’s Montreal studios. These PS2 classics have been upgraded with HD graphics and are ready for 3D-enabled televisions for the first time ever.
Firmware updated version 3.50 is now available to download. The main feature included in the new update is support for 3D Blu-ray movie playback, but we have information on other new features too. You can update your console via the Network Update option under the [Settings] menu. Details of the other new features included in this update can be found below.
