The PlayStation 3 3D library is going stronger and stronger every day. If you aren’t familiar with what the PS3 has to offer or are looking to convince yourself to get the new Official PlayStation 3 3D Display, Sony has compiled an updated list of 3D games and movies to help you out.

Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Trilogy Coming to PS3 With 3D
For the last few months, Ubisoft have been working on bringing the first three Splinter Cell games – Splinter Cell, Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow and Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory – to the PS3. Splinter Cell and Sam Fisher don’t need an introduction; these three games are highly acclaimed games and it has been a great pleasure for us to work on these titles.

VUDU Adds Stereoscopic 3D Movie Streaming
VUDU has been updated to a whole new dimension today thanks to a new patch for the movie streaming service. If you’ve got a 3D-enabled TV hooked up to your PS3, now you can stream in 3D directly from VUDU. If you’ve already downloaded the VUDU app, it will be updated automatically with the new functionality.

If you own a PlayStation 3 and a 3DTV but are missing out on some 3D titles, check out the complete list of 3D titles released by Sony below. Currently, 19 3D titles are available for purchase, 8 of which can be downloaded from the PlayStation Store. In 2011, 10 3D games have been announced so far, you can expect plenty more to be released.
The Prince of Persia is Back in HD and 3D
The Prince of Persia Trilogy will be available for download exclusively on the PlayStation Network, giving you the opportunity to re-live the critically-acclaimed developed by Ubisoft’s Montreal studios. These PS2 classics have been upgraded with HD graphics and are ready for 3D-enabled televisions for the first time ever.
PS3 System Software Update v3.50 Details
Firmware updated version 3.50 is now available to download. The main feature included in the new update is support for 3D Blu-ray movie playback, but we have information on other new features too. You can update your console via the Network Update option under the [Settings] menu. Details of the other new features included in this update can be found below.
