XP Reward Scheme

October 19th, 2009 Leave a comment Go to comments

User activity on XTREME PS3 will earn you XP points, which can then be redeemed for prizes and goodies. Here is the basic point structure:

  • Comment on a Post = 5 XP
  • Submit News Tip = 10 XP
  • Submit Article / Games Review / FAQ = 20 XP
  • Submit XMB Theme or Wallpaper = 10 XP
  • Submit Download / Trophy Guide = 10 XP

Note: Misbehaving on the website will jeopardize your points. For example, posing offensive and abusive comments will result in 10 XP points being taken away from your total. Spam will not be tolerated at all – you will loose 100 XP instantly and a possible ban on your account.

Submitting Content & Commenting

You can submit news tips / reviews / articles / downloads / guides etc. by contacting us using the contact form or emailing admin<at>xtremeps3.com (replace <at> with @). For reviews / articles / guides / Wallpaper / Themes etc. the content must be your own work. Using someone else’s work will result in immediate banning or losing 1000 XP.

Excessive commenting on articles will count as spamming. If we find that you are making useless comments and in quick succession, we will automatically deduct 100 XP without warning. Comments like “no comment” or “i don’t care about this” are useless and are considered spam. Three incidents will result in complete ban.

For details on submitting articles and downloads, please read this guide.

Claiming Your Prize

Once you have enough XP points racked up, simple email us using the contact form or emailing admin<at>xtremeps3.com (replace <at> with @). Be sure to include your username, real name, and name and description of your chosen prize (see below). We will confirm if your prize is in stock as well as request your shipping information. The user is responsible for all shipping costs. We will confirm shipping costs based on your location and prize.

@ABC24 for PSN Credit, we will give you credit card details you can enter on the PSN Store. It would be worth spending money on shipping PSN Cards! Of course, the credit limit on the card will be locked to the specific value ($5 / $10 / $20).
