Sony “Confirms” PlayStation Move Support for Heavy Rain

According to European gaming magazine Chief, which is out next week in the Netherlands and Belgium, a number of titles have been confirmed to support PlayStation Move by Sony. Among the list of titles are some previously announced titles including SOCOM 4 and LittleBigPlanet, but new to the list is Heavy Rain. Although the magazine doesn’t go into details, the game is likely to receive a patch to enable Move support.

Heavy Rain already uses the motion functions of the SIXAXIS controller to perform actions within the game so adding Move is a logical next step. While most of the QTEs in the game will translate well to the Move controller, the QTEs requiring multiple button presses simultaneously may not as not all the button on the SIXAXIS controller are on the Move controllers.

Heavy Rain is a great game and the controller is a great idea, but the two together don’t seem that much fun, God of War and the motion controller however, hell yea!
