Bayonetta Getting Patched to Allow HD Install

Bayonetta has a serious loading problem on the PS3, as we mentioned on our review. Tomorrow, a new patch will go live allowing PS3 users to install game data to their hard drive, which should dramatically reduce the lengthy load times in the game. The installation of game data will be optional, so those of you running out of space on your console can continue to play the game as is.

We are currently waiting for details on how much space the install will take up, though we speculate it to be in the region of 4-5 GB. Lets hope the patch brings the PS3 version of the game in par with the Xbox 360 version.

This is excellent news. I was hoping they would release a patch like this. They should’ve done this from the beginning!
