Uncharted 2 Achieves Target Sales
Early in October, Arne Meyer, Senior Manager of Marketing Communications at Naughty Dog, stated in an interview with Edge Online that Naughty Dog wished to outsell the first Uncharted, which sold over 2.5 million copies world wide since it was released in November 2007. Well, it’s taken Uncharted 2: Among Thieves only two months to reach this target according to VGChartz (though the actual figures may vary).
This is a considerable difference to the first title, which took over two years to achieve this figure. Uncharted 2: Among Thieves is an excellent game, winning the Game of the Year award a the Video Game Awards 2009, and other awards including Best PS3 Game and Best Graphics.
