New TV and movies are now available to download from the US PlayStation Video Store. This week the remake of “Friday the 13th” is available from the store, which includes never-before-seen footage and promises to deliver more horror and more thrills. The full length feature is available now in the store under New Releases as well as in our new Slasher Films collection under Featured Collections. Check out the list of other new content below.

PlayStation Store Update for June 18th 2009

A small PlayStation Store update for Europe this week with only game add-on content, a few game videos and some themes and wallpaper. The US has received a much bigger update with Episode 13 of Qore now available to download as well as a new playable demo, the PSOne classic Metal Gear Solid and some premium themes. Game add-on content includes new Rock Band and Guitar Hero tracks and a new MotorStorm: Pacific Rift livery pack.
PlayStation Video Store Update for June 12th 2009

This week’s PlayStation Video Store update adds plenty of new content for you to enjoy over the weekend (see below). There are almost 50 new movies to download and over 30 new TV shows available to purchase. As for this weeks top downloaded movies, He’s Just Not That Into You is in top place followed by Gran Torino and Taken. Gravity Crash Trophies

Gravity Crash combines vintage arcade shooter gameplay with striking HD vector graphics running in 1080p at 60 frames per second. In Gravity Crash, developed by Just Add Water, the player pilots a small craft. Mastering the flight mechanics to combat the perpetual gravitational pull is the key to success. Armed with an arsenal of main and special weapons, a rechargeable shield and a carefully watched fuel gauge, players battle gravity and inertia through 37 planets that each feature environmental dangers, enemies and other obstacles.
Gunstar Heroes Trophies

A downloadable version of the classic 1997 Genesis/Mega Drive game. You’ll face many different enemies and bosses as you battle to stop the dictator from unleashing “Golden Silver the Destructor” with apocalyptic consequences. There are 12 Trophies that can be earned in this title, all of which can be unlocked within a few hours.
Ghostbusters: The Video Game Trophies

With Manhattain newly overrun by ghosts and other supernatural creatures, it’s up to you to take on the role of a new recruit joining the original, famous Ghostbusters team.
PlayStation Store Update for June 11th 2009

This week’s PlayStation Store is a huge one for both Europe and the US. There are a number of new downloadable games available on both stores as well as new playable demos. VidZone is now available to download in Europe too. There is plenty of new game add-on content too, including the new Killzone 2 map pack: Flash and Thunder, new LittleBigPlanet costumes, Saints Row 2 content and more. VidZone Out Today In Europe
SCEE has announced that VidZone, the on-demand music video service for the PlayStation 3, will go live in Europe later today. The free service gives you the freedom to view thousands of music videos on demand by streaming them directly to your PS3. It will launch with more than 10,000 videos with major music labels as well as thousands of independent artist getting on board, and will be supported with on-screen advertising.
Burnout Paradise Big Surf Island Pack Coming This Week

Qore Episode 13 Delayed

The next issue of Qore has been delayed due to revision of content. Episode 13 was expected to launch last week to coincide with E3 and the announcement of the PSP Go!. As you may have read, the Qore feature covering the PSP Go! was leaked last month prior to the official announcement. “We are currently revising the content of the episode to bring you the most up-to-date information,” states the email from Sony.
